La Casa de Jacquemus: 15th-anniversary collection

Benvenuti a Capri! Simon Porte Jacquemus presented his latest collection on an iconic Italian island, marking the 15th anniversary of his namesake brand. Entitled “Le Casa”, the autumn-winter 2025 collection was inspired by “Contempt” (“Le Mépris”) by Jean-Luc Godard. Simon says that’s one of his favourite films - when he was a 19-year-old fashion school dropout he watched the trailer non-stop when thinking about launching his own brand. And ever since he has always dreamed of staging a show in its iconic location Casa Malaparte. Well, 15 years later, his dream finally came true. The models walked on the red brick roof of the building under the blinding Caprian sun dressed in Zebra-coats (a reference to a retro photo of an American jet-setter, featured on his mood board), jumpsuits, A-line skirts and semitransparent tunique dresses. Styled with headscarves, mules and an array of Capri blue turquoise accessories. Other inspirations included paparazzi pictures of Jackie O on a holiday on the dreamy island. Thus, an abundance of monochrome simple silhouettes, with no extra details. Elegant and chic, what else?

For the first time, Jacquemus also presented a whole selection of menswear on his runway. Bermuda shorts, linen jackets, striped shirts, tank tops and loose trousers, styled with headscarves, just like his womenswear. Easy to wear and tirelessly casual, these pieces will find their way to modern men’s wardrobes. This time, a star-studded casting included Deva Cassel, Maricarla Boscono, and Imaan Hammam, but the biggest surprise was left for the final look, modelled by Korean pop star Jennie Kim from BLACKPINK, who marched gracefully in a little black dress, clutching a turquoise bag. A moment to remember. And the best part of it: all of the clothes you saw on the catwalk, are already available to purchase online. Believe it or not, but in the sunny world of Jacquemus, everything is possible even the tricky see-now-buy-now model actually works. Magic!
