The Power of the Dialogue: the New Prada Campaign is Celebrating the Notion of Conversing and Exchanging Ideas

It's our favourite passe-temps: discussing, having inspiring conversations, and thus finding new ideas. This fundamental tenet at the heart of Prada's creativity takes centre stage in the latest advertising campaign for Autumn-Winter 2024 dubbed "Prada in Conversation".

"Honest human interaction is at the core of Prada’s identity - the foundation of its expression of fashion, and the root of the creative partnership between Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. Every Prada collection is a conversation, an interplay of contrasting opinions and viewpoints, both within the designs themselves and in their rapport with their audience. Fashion is an exchange. That ideology is extended to encompass the concept behind Prada’s visual imagery, a mirror of actuality – the now, the here," said the press notes.

Prada's brand ambassadors and world-famous actors Harris Dickinson, Damson Idris, Yili Ma, Hunter Schafer and Letitia Wright in the lense of Willy Vanderperre chat, have long conversations on the phone and smile as if it was real life. The accompanying short movies were shot by Oscar-nominated documentary director Garret Bradley, and the scripts were imagined by American filmmaker, artist, and writer Miranda July, whose voice we can hear in several episodes.
