SL Editions: Zoë Kravitz is the Star of a New Book by Saint Laurent

Ever since Saint Laurent opened a dedicated book and record store on the Left Bank in Paris, we have been living a life full of beautiful cultural moments. Located in the prestigious Saint-Germain-des-Près district, just a stone's throw away from literary cafés Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, it's heaven for those in search of rare finds and new coffee table books edited by Saint Laurent.

The latest addition to SL Editions' collection, is dedicated to actress, singer and director Zoë Kravitz, who has been Saint Laurent's artistic director Anthony Vaccarello's muse since day one. Titled "ZOË", it's an illustrated album featuring over 100 sensual and poetic images by South African photographer and film director Henrik Purienne, who followed the actress in Paris and Los Angeles, capturing her longstanding creative partnership and friendship with Anthony Vaccarello.

"In real life, as in her work, Kravitz personifies the confident, contemporary sensuality that is the essence of the Saint Laurent woman," according to the press notes. "The pair’s respectful vision is distilled in "ZOË".
On over 100 pages, the shots captured by Purienne’s lens in colour and black-and-white show Kravitz's character —independent, playful, and in clear command of her allure— in a variety of situations unfolding
from the beach to the city. A small cast of supporting players —including actor Jeremy Allen White— adds intrigue to the simultaneously abstract and revealing story."

The book signing will take place in Paris on July 29 at the Saint Laurent Babylone store. "ZOË" will be available for purchase in Paris, but also at the Saint Laurent Rive Droite boutique in Los Angeles, and digitally at ysl.com. But that's not all! To mark the occasion, two photo exhibitions will be held at Saint Laurent boutiques: first in the Rive Droite store in Los Angeles (until August 20), and later in September at Saint Laurent Babylone in Paris. Stay tuned.
