While the City of Lights is getting ready to host the Summer Olympics from July 26 to August 11, Dior Beauty is preparing a wellness surprise for all fans of the brand. For two weeks, starting from July 30 to August 11, the Dior Spa Cruise liner will be back in Paris, anchored at the docks at Pont Henri IV in Paris, just a stone’s throw away from île Saint-Louis.
The Dior Spa Cruise is housed at the Excellence Yacht de Paris, with its 120m upper deck embellished with the brand’s eye-catching toile de jouy pattern in a summer coral hue. The boat features five treatment cabins, including one double, a fitness area, a juice bar, and a relaxation space with a pool, inspired by cryotherapy for optimum muscle recovery. After all, it’s Olympics season, so when it comes to wellness and sports at Dior everything is imagined according to the best sports practices, insights and latest scientific research.
As in previous editions, guests will have two options: The Spa Treatment Cruise and The Fitness Cruise. Both last for two hours, the first hour is for Wellness or Sports, while the second hour is for relaxing and enjoying the moment, sailing on the River Seine and catching glimpses of typically Parisian sights: think Eiffel Tower, the Musée d’Orsay, the Louvre or the Grand Palais, among others. New this season, the “Monsieur Dior sur Seine café”, curated by Michelin-starred chef Jean Imbert, who created three original and healthy gourmet menus for breakfast, brunch, or afternoon tea service, completing the unique Dior Spa Cruise experience.
So what’s on the Beauty Menu? Inspired by the Olympic Spirit, the Spa option includes a one-hour face or body treatment (there is a D-deep tissue massage, Dior Muscle Therapy, Constellation and Dior Sculpt Therapy) and one hour of rest and dining on the boat’s deck. Meanwhile, the Fitness cruise features a one-hour sports session (you can choose between outdoor yoga in the morning or pilates on the deck in the afternoon), followed by one hour of rest and dining. And as nothing is impossible in the world of Dior, both cruises can be combined for an exclusive four-hour experience.
