Evian x Humanrace: the Water Bottle you will be Definitely in Search of this Autumn

It all started on July 19, when Evian and Pharrell Williams’ skincare brand Humanrace made a collaborative Instagram post, captioned:“A new era of joyful well-being is near” teasing the upcoming release of a brand new partnership between the two. Not much is known about the design of the water bottle apart from what we can see in the image that was uploaded, where Williams, is sitting at a conference table with two classic glass Evian bottles in front of him. The only distinguishing detail about these bottles are the blue and green bottle tops and some unintelligible white print on the bottle itself. This seems to be a sneak peak of an ad campaign that is expected to be made public very soon.

Pharrell Williams is an iconic figure with huge influence across multiple creative industries, a multi-talented musician, singer and songwriter, and now creative director of Louis Vuitton Menswear collections. A fact less known: he has actually worked with Evian in the recent past, his track “JOY” was used as the soundtrack for the ad campaign “Mountain of Youth” this May, so this collaboration comes as no big surprise. As the artistic director for men’s Louis Vuitton, and founder of his own skincare brand Humanrace, he has made a name for himself in the Music and beauty/fashion industry alike, making it a perfect opportunity to now partner with Evian to promote his creative endeavours in other creative fields. Making him the perfect talent to join the rooster of fashion talents who collaborated with iconic French brand: think Issey Miyake, Paul Smith, Elie Saab, Kenzo, Jean Paul Gaultier, Diane Von Furstenberg.

Alexander Wang, Christian Lacroix, Chiara Ferragni, Virgil Abloh, Moncler, Balmain and most recently Coperni.

“Our collaboration with Evian is focused on well-being, physically and mentally. I’m excited to share our work and message of joy with the world,” Pharrell mused in the official press notes, announcing the project. “This partnership has multiple elements to keep everyone living young throughout the year. We’re inviting everyone to discover their own playful and curious spirit and rediscover that sense of youth within themselves.”

If you’d like to see for yourself what the hype is all about with the upcoming Humanrace collaboration, you’re in luck because unlike Williams’ work with the likes of Louis Vuitton, at least most of us can afford a bottle of water. For now, stay tuned for new updates on this iconic collaboration.
